How Our Containerized Desalination System Works

Our system follows a proven and reliable desalination process, designed for stable operation, high efficiency, and easy maintenance in coastal and remote environments.

Step 1: Seawater Intake & Buffering

Seawater is collected and stabilized in the water tank to ensure continuous and stable feed.

Step 2: Pre-Treatment Filtration

Multi-stage filtration (sand filter + core filter) removes suspended solids and protects the membrane system.

Step 3: High-Pressure RO Separation

A high-pressure pump drives water through RO membranes, removing over 99% of salts and impurities.

Step 4: Energy Recovery System

The system recovers pressure energy from the concentrate stream, reducing energy consumption and operating cost.

Step 5: Freshwater Production

Clean and stable freshwater is produced, suitable for domestic and industrial use.

Step 6: Concentrate Discharge

The remaining brine is safely discharged or reused depending on project requirements.

Proven in a 1,200 m³/day project in Mozambique

In 2025, our integrated desalination system was successfully implemented in Mozambique with a project scale of 1,200 m³/day. The system uses MTRO technology to remove salts and impurities from seawater and produce freshwater, supporting both domestic and industrial supply needs.
